docker-compose.yml:
- Remove env_file — all vars inline with \${VAR:-default} substitution
- NTFY_TOPIC soft-defaults to empty (no hard :? error)
- Pull pre-built images from ghcr.io (no local build step)
- Add resource limits: app 512MB/1CPU, notifier 128MB/0.25CPU
- Add x-casaos metadata for CasaOS app store / dashboard
- Remove dev service (run separately as needed)
.github/workflows/docker.yml:
- Build and push both app (ghcr.io/nmemmert/letter) and notifier
(ghcr.io/nmemmert/letter-notifier) images in one job
- Separate GHA cache scopes per image for efficient layer reuse
- Separate metadata steps for independent tag sets

docker-compose.yml:
- Every env var documented inline with type/default/purpose
- env_file: .env (required: false) — container starts without it
- NTFY_TOPIC uses :? operator so compose errors clearly if unset
- New vars: NTFY_TOKEN (private topics), NTFY_PRIORITY, TZ, APP_PORT, DEV_PORT
- Removed duplicate NTFY_URL entry
notifier/index.mjs:
- Reads TZ from env (was hardcoded "America/Chicago")
- Reads NTFY_PRIORITY from env (was hardcoded "default")
- Adds Authorization: Bearer header when NTFY_TOKEN is set
- Startup log shows auth status and full schedule config
.env.example: mirrors every compose variable with descriptions

Fix: remove unused 'accessibleMonths' variable (tsc exit code 2)
Features:
- AllYearsLetter view: all years in chronological order, reachable
from "All Years" at the top of the sidebar
- PDF export: window.print() with @media print CSS — sidebar, toolbar,
and chrome hidden; each year starts on a new page via page-break
- "Download all" exports a plain-text file of every year's letter
- ntfy notifier: standalone Node.js service (notifier/) that fires a
push notification via ntfy on the 1st of each month; configurable
via NTFY_TOPIC, NTFY_URL, CRON_SCHEDULE, APP_URL env vars
- docker-compose: adds `notifier` service alongside `app`; reads from
.env (example in .env.example); NTFY_TEST_ON_START=true sends a
test ping on container start

- ci.yml: lint + type-check + build on every push/PR to main; uploads dist artifact
- docker.yml: builds and pushes image to ghcr.io/nmemmert/letter on main push and version tags; uses GHA layer cache
- docker-compose.yml: `app` service runs the production nginx image on :8080; `dev` profile mounts source and runs vite dev server on :5173
